If you enjoy writing and have a topic that you’re passionate about, blogging could be a great fit for you. I guarantee it will be a lot of work, and there’s no guarantee you’ll ever make a dime. Which is why I stress that you need to be passionate about your topic, preferably something that you would like to write about even if you had to do it for free (because for a while, you probably will).
One of the ways to earn money blogging is by signing up with Google AdSense. Many people are already familiar with Google AdSense, and you’ve probably clicked on a google ad at some point (whether you knew it or not!). Adsense provides advertising that is easy to set up on your blog, and ads are automatically targeted to your blog topic.
Another popular way to earn money from your blog is through affiliate advertising. It’s relatively easy for a new blogger to sign up with these affiliate companies (be sure to read their terms and conditions before you apply). They provide a variety of different offers, and you can pick and choose which ones to feature on your blog.
