They have a liberal coupon policy, and although their everyday prices can be a little high, if you stick with the sale items and coupon match-ups, you can score some great bargains! In the Toledo, Ohio area, Giant Eagle doubles coupons with face value up to 99 cents every day, with a generous limit of 12 “like” coupons per transaction. The first sale week of the month they usually have “Super Doubles,” where any coupon with a face value between $1 and $2 is worth $2! Super Doubles are limited to four “like” coupons per transaction. They also allow you to “stack” their eOffers (digital coupons) with paper coupons. I sometimes like to use their self-checkout – I can keep an eye on the prices that way, and can also scan my own coupons! And if the savings aren’t enough, they also have free child care for kids ages 3 to 9 yrs while you shop! If you’ve never shopped at Giant Eagle, I encourage you to check it out!
