Coupon Shopping Guide
Target generally has good everyday prices in their grocery department (including household items like paper and cleaning products, and health and beauty items). Unless you have a Super Target in your area, the grocery selection is limited.
I don’t find many grocery deals listed in their Sunday ad (again, NO Super Target in the Toledo area). Most of their advertised items are general merchandise (electronics, clothing, etc.). The best way I’ve found for getting grocery deals at Target is by printing store coupons at Target.com and then finding manufacturer coupons to coordinate with those store coupons (“stacking”). Then I browse through the grocery aisles comparing prices with my coupons to see where I can score some deals.
That can be a time-consuming process, and there’s no guarantee I’ll even leave the store with anything. So I actually don’t shop at Target very often, since I get more “bang for my buck” at the grocery stores. But I do keep an eye out for deals listed on the internet by the “Target Shopping Experts” like Totally Target.

Target Printable Store Coupons
These can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for BIG savings! Occasionally coupons will print with “Manufacturer Coupon” instead of “Target Store Coupon” listed at the top. These cannot be stacked with other manufacturer coupons at Target, but they can be used at other stores besides Target.
Target Mobile Coupons
Target Mobile Coupons are store coupons and can also be stacked with manufacturer coupons. Sign up online using your mobile phone number or text COUPONS to 827438 (text-enabled mobile phone required to participate; message and data rates may apply). You will receive a text alert approximately every two weeks with a link to a list of available coupons. To redeem, click the link in your text message, then ask the cashier to scan the barcode on your mobile phone. Each coupon can be used only once; if you reload the coupon page after it has been scanned, you will see that the coupon(s) you used will disappear from the page.
My experience with Target Mobile: I receive about four text messages per month from Target Mobile: one text message every other Saturday with a link to new coupons, and one text message reminder a few days before the coupons will expire. There are usually less than 10 coupons listed. I see a lot of seasonal items (e.g. sunscreen, bug spray in summer), and also some clothing coupons (e.g. $3 off one Merona item) or Target Cafe coupons (e.g. $.50 off any Pizza Hut Express item).
